Job summary

Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking an Arrhythmia Technician to oversee arrhythmia surveillance for monitored patients in the Telemetry Room. You will ensure clear communication among the care team to deliver safe patient monitoring during night shifts.

JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Charge Nurse, Patient Care Manager, Director and Vice President of Patient Care, the Arrhythmia Technician is responsible for effective and efficient communication control in the Telemetry Room. The Arrhythmia Technician is responsible for surveillance of arrhythmia on monitored patients.

JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS

Time Type: Full time (72 hours per 2 week pay period), with benefits

Typical Hours: Night Shift, 7pm to 7am, every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Education: High School Diploma required

Certification & Licensures: N/A

Experience
  • Previous computer experience required
  • Previous clerical experience required (preferably in medical field)
  • Prior arrhythmia training preferred
  • Successful completion of medical terminology course preferred
