Job summary

Bryan Health in Lincoln, NE seeks an Arrhythmia Device Programmer to join our Cardiac Rhythm Services team. You will program pacemakers, ICDs and implantable loop recorders, and perform in-clinic and remote monitoring with meticulous documentation in the EHR.

You will operate multiple device programmers and analyze rhythm strips to ensure proper device function, while educating patients and staff on device use and troubleshooting. A commitment to safe, patient-centered care is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary medical coursework desirable.
• Knowledge of pacemaker/defibrillator devices and related monitoring.
• Ability to analyze rhythm strips and troubleshoot programming issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-clinic and remote monitoring of cardiac devices.
• Program pacemakers, ICDs and implantable loop recorders using multiple programmer platforms.
• Enter implant data, programming changes and scheduling information into the EHR/database.
• Educate patients and staff on pacing/defibrillation concepts and device operation.
• Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers and nurses to optimize device function.
