ECS is seeking an ARPA-H Senior Executive Assistant/Action Officer to work remotely.

Are you a passionate, innovative senior executive assistant/action officer with experience supporting executive leaders in federal government seeking to launch leading edge initiatives and projects in healthcare or other markets?

ECS is seeking a capable and experienced Senior Executive Assistant/Action Officer to join our team in supporting executive-level personnel, establishing effective relationships with the public, having customer service expertise, excellent oral/written communication skills, and excellent organizational & time-management skills. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in helping federal executives focus on leading the initiation and management of new projects.

ARPA-H stands for Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health and is a new agency within the United States government designed to advance breakthroughs in health and biomedical research. The agency focuses on driving innovation, supporting visionary research initiatives, and accelerating progress in areas such as medical technology, therapeutics, diagnostics, and healthcare delivery. As an ARPA-H Senior Executive Assistant/Action Officer, you will provide support to Mission Office Directors and Program Managers as the team drives groundbreaking projects that have the potential to transform healthcare and save lives.

What you will do:

  • Provide high level executive support by managing calendars and day-to-day routine.
  • Deliver heavy schedule management for a high-paced executive environment for executives with an equally heavy travel schedule.
  • Manage the daily schedule to accommodate unexpected meetings, visitors and any last-minute changes to the daily schedule.
  • Disseminate "taskers" rapidly, in a timely manner as they are received, and follow up with those who are responsible for completing the taskers.
  • Perform several administrative duties to include scheduling, controls, deliverables, time and attendance, reservations, calendar maintenance, and mail.
  • Facilitate and coordinate all management meetings, and prepare presentations/meeting materials, collect meeting minutes and circulate as action items for completion.
  • Coordinate weekly reports, perform ad hoc projects/taskers, edit and compile for leadership.
  • Maintain/update division telework and alternate work schedules.
  • Apply independent and critical thinking to identify and move forward executive-level requests and actions when leadership is not readily available.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $130,000

  • Proven experience supporting federal executive-level personnel, including monitoring deliverables, allocating resource needs, and project workplans.
