Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Truck Driver to support operations by transporting cargo and supplies across diverse terrains. You’ll operate wheeled vehicles, manage loads, and ensure passenger safety during movement by air, rail, or vessel.

Training lasts 10 weeks of Basic Training plus seven weeks of Advanced Individual Training, with a regular paycheck during drills and access to tuition assistance and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for enlistment in the Army National Guard.
• Interest in driving and mechanics is desirable.
• Experience with vehicle operation or training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate wheeled military vehicles and equipment on varied terrain.
• Oversee loading/unloading of cargo and ensure safety of personnel.
