Job summary

General Dynamics - IT on Fort Leavenworth seeks a Systems Administrator to provide expert IT and information management support for the Mission Command Training Program. You’ll liaison IT systems, helping ensure seamless operations during worldwide Warfighter Exercises.

The role requires DoD RMF compliance, AMCS experience, and a Secret clearance, with hands-on administration across SIPR/NIPR environments. A BS/BA and 5+ years of IT experience are expected.

Qualifications

• DoD DCWF qualifications with primary role of Technical Support Specialist and secondary role System Administrator at Intermediate tier.
• Experience with Army Mission Command Systems and constructive training simulations.
• DoD security requirements: Secret clearance; RMF/Patch management; IA controls.

Responsibilities

• Information system management: serve as the primary point of contact for IT requirements and coordinate with NEC and external agencies.
• Exercise planning and execution: assist in EL C planning, site surveys, and design of C2 support for training activities.
• Technical support: on-site troubleshooting for Army Mission Command Systems and related tools during WARFIGHTER Exercises.
• Network and system administration: manage SIPR/NIPR environments, ensuring connectivity and server operations.
• Cybersecurity and information assurance: enforce DoD policies and RMF compliance, patch management.
• Knowledge management: develop tools for staff information sharing and CCIR flows.
• Equipment and asset management: lifecycle management and deployment of IT hardware/software.
