Responsibilities
Empower AI: As an Army Golden Master (AGM) Software Engineer, you will support the Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) on the DoDIN-A Cybersecurity and Network Operations Mission Support (ADCNOMS) contract. You will be responsible for the Army Standard Software Baseline Configuration (SSBC) Program, producing the Army Golden Master (AGM), the mandatory software baseline configuration for the Army.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop, update, and maintain the NETCOM Technical Authority (TA) documentation for hardware, OS, and applications to establish the baseline configuration for System Center computing systems across the Army via CHESS.
- Create, test, validate, and publish AGM OS and software packages, including non-AGM applications and updates.
- Coordinate with CHESS for AGM packaging methods; package and ship using government-provided means such as USPS, FEDEX, UPS to vendors with AGM baselines for each cycle.
- Replicate disk images and distribute to OEM vendors and Army’s software download portal; support AGM SIPR Token activation.
- Maintain a spreadsheet capturing security-related CI data, including guidelines from STIGs, CIS, NIST, DISA, NSA.
- Provide IV&V test reports for AGM/SYSMAN packages, ensuring quality and interoperability.
- Create and maintain Requirements Documents for secure configurations.
- Draft and update enterprise system documentation.
- Conduct Change, Configuration, and Release Management activities regularly.
- Draft documentation for emerging technologies or new capabilities.
- Perform vulnerability scans in eMASS using ACAS, support RMF compliance.
- Develop artifacts such as system functionality, data flows, security plans, and configurations for ATOs.
- Update eMASS POA&Ms for each capability.
- Manage system changes using approved templates and the CMDB.
- Maintain standard baseline configurations within the ITEF.
- Participate in technical forums and provide enterprise compliance analysis.
- Support data mining, visualization, dashboards, and reports.
- Test system limitations and recommend improvements.
- Support automated software delivery and configuration management.
- Develop and release CTO POA&Ms with defense-in-depth measures.
- Create KPIs and analysis reports for systems.
- Draft enterprise system architectural diagrams, including OV-1, OV-2, SV-1, SV-2 diagrams.
- Support fielding activities as needed.
- Monitor incident queues, respond to >95% of incidents promptly.
- Generate monthly KPI reports and conduct weekly performance discussions.
- Provide Tier III support during duty and callback hours.
- Coordinate with Cyber Centers and support incident resolution.
- Document errors, problems, and solutions from Tier-III operations.
- Escalate issues to Tier-IV support with approval.
- Draft technical guidance for remediation procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Secret Security Clearance
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10-15 years of experience
- Expertise in virtual hosting engineering
- Experience in building software applications, UI frameworks, and assessing impact on hybrid-cloud architectures
- Proficiency in Java, Ruby, PHP, Python, PowerShell, XML, and automation tools
- Experience in documenting designs, code reviews, and technical specifications
- Knowledge of ASP.NET, C++, and Object-Oriented Design
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, SDLC, and Information Architecture
- Familiarity with application packaging tools like MSI, Visual Studio
- Expertise in application installation and security, including mobile platforms
- Basic networking, OS, virtualization, and cloud knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ITIL processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator Associate
- Windows Server Hybrid Administrator
- CASP or equivalent
Physical Requirements:

- Mobility within and between buildings
- Travel up to 10%
