Job summary

SMX is hiring an Army ERP Functional consultant to analyze Finance and Logistics datasets for Enterprise reporting. You will collaborate with DoD clients to modernize and integrate Army ERP data with legacy systems, shaping functional logic for datasets and dashboards.

You will leverage deep Army financial processes knowledge, lead workshops, and engage stakeholders across government teams in a hybrid role based in Crystal City or the Pentagon at least 3 days/week.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• 10+ years Army ERP implementation and support experience.
• Expertise in GFEBS data including budgeting and expenditures.
• Deep knowledge of Army Financial Line of Accounting.
• Expert understanding of SAP FI/FM/CO/MM/PP and their impact on postings.
• Experience with US Treasury financial reporting and Army data interoperability.
• Experience implementing Enterprise Data Warehouse and Data Lake for HDQA reporting.
• Experience with Army GFEBS and related processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Business or related field.
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Army/DoW financial and logistics data to design integration logic for enterprise reporting.
• Normalize data from SAP and non-SAP systems for HQDA and command dashboards.
• Serve as Financials SME across diverse mission fields and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced, mission-oriented environment.
• Apply knowledge of Army financial systems and processes to projects.
• Manage timelines and deliverables; communicate progress to clients and stakeholders.
• Lead functional workshops to clarify data integration logic and dependencies.
