Job summary

Southwire Company, LLC seeks an Operator, Armoring to process steel and aluminum MC Cable, loading raw materials and tagging finished product to meet safety and quality standards.

Initial duties include material handling, basic machine operation, and following production orders. The role requires standing, lifting up to 45 lbs, and English literacy; Spanish is a plus. On-site position in Carrollton, GA.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English; Spanish is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to stand and lift up to 45 lbs consistently.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret production orders.

Responsibilities

• Operate and coordinate tasks to maximize production safely.
• Learn to judge quality of steel/aluminum MC Cable.
• Interact with computer controls to run machinery.
• Navigate control panels to resolve operating issues.
• Coordinate material handling with others for continuous production.
• Maintain material levels and unload/load raw materials and finished goods.
