Job summary

Daniel Defense is seeking an Armorer Tech 1 in Georgia to support firearms assembly on the production line. You will learn and apply Armorer 3-level processes while gaining foundation knowledge of MES, laser machines, and OCR systems under supervision.

The role requires basic technical training, strong safety mindset, and the ability to work varied shifts. This is an on-site, full-time position in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Armorer 3 level required.
• 0–2 years of technical training in mechanical, electrical, or automation systems preferred; related certifications are a plus.
• Proven firearms assembly expertise at the Daniel Defense Armorer 3 standard and familiarity with line processes.
• Strong communication and ability to work varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Apply deep knowledge of Daniel Defense firearms assembly processes to support and maintain the technologies that power the assembly line.
• Perform basic setup and maintenance of assembly technologies, including laser machines, presses, and conveyor systems.
• Assist with and learn to program MES, Laser machines, and OCR systems under supervision.
• Ensure all tooling is provided, maintained, and calibrated to meet production and quality standards.
• Support the assembly line by conducting tests and adjustments to maintain product quality.
• Identify and resolve minor equipment breakdowns; escalate complex issues to senior technicians.
