Job description

Position Summary:

We are looking for several Delivery Drivers to operate comfortable, lightweight armored vehicles and serve as the face of the company. If you are a professional driver who enjoys interacting with customers while providing service levels that maintain happy and loyal customers, and places value not only on what work gets done but also on how it gets done, this could be the job for you.

Reports To:

The Armored Van Driver will report to the Transport Lead, Operations Manager, or Branch Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Represent Empyreal as a transportation and customer service professional.
• Maintain positive, friendly, and professional communication with customers, co-workers, and management via in person, phone, or electronic means.
• Safely operate vehicles in various traffic, weather, and daylight conditions.
• Collect, transport, and deliver currency and coin to and from vehicles and client locations.
• Load and unload ATM machines.
• Use handheld electronic devices to scan and track currency shipments and determine vehicle routes.
• Ensure the safe, accurate, and secure collection and delivery of clients' assets.
• Maintain communication with designated company representatives, reporting delays, issues, incidents, or other important information promptly.
• Complete documentation and updates using handheld electronic devices.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
• Maintain the vehicle, equipment, and facility in clean and operational condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of navigation tools such as GPS, smartphone apps, and maps is essential.
• Ability to maintain logs and records, and use scanners and handheld devices.

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting 50/75 pounds.
• Sitting or standing for prolonged periods.
• Maintaining alertness and focus for long periods.
• Quick decision-making and reaction to road conditions.
• Good judgment and adherence to traffic laws.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• One or more years of experience preferred in delivery, route driving, truck driving, courier, ATM technician, patrol officer, military, security, or related fields.
• Maintain professionalism, courtesy, respect, and uniform standards.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Trustworthiness and integrity are of utmost importance.
