Job summary

Evergreen Armored, a subsidiary of Maps Credit Union, seeks a full-time Armored Service Technician in Keizer, Oregon, to transport currency and valuables for financial institutions. The role involves daily routes, security, and asset protection, with responsibilities including custody of cargo and vault operations.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, DPSST armed security certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days), and a minimum of two years in security.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record.
• Must pass a pre-employment DOT Physical and provide a Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• Successful completion of DPSST armed security certification, or ability to complete within 30 days.
• Minimum of two years of experience in security, or the equivalent training and experience.
• Must be bondable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure custody, control, and security of shipment cargo at all times.
• Receive, verify, document, and account for shipment cargo.
• Process shipments and customer accounts per policy and procedures; including Federal Reserve shipments.
• Maintain records in an organized, detailed manner.
• Operate cash/coin vaults and open/close the facility as needed.
• Collaborate with co-workers and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Minimum 21 years of age

Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record

Pre-employment DOT Physical and Medical Examiner’s Certificate

DPSST armed security certification or ability to obtain within 30 days

Two years of security experience
