Maps Credit Union through its Evergreen Armored subsidiary is hiring an Armored Service Technician to safely transport currency and valuables on daily routes from our Kent, WA location. You will handle custody, verification, and documentation of shipments, maintain records, and assist with vault operations in a security-focused environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years in security or service, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass a DOT physical and background checks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in service, security, or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record.
• Must meet credit history standards.
• Must pass a pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen.
• Must hold a valid unarmed/armed security guard license with WA authorities or be able to acquire within 30 days.
• Experience with currency processing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure custody, control, and security of shipment cargo at all times.
• Receive, verify, document, and account for shipment cargo.
• Prepare and process shipment transactions, including Federal Reserve shipments and customer accounts.
• Distribute and receipts of money bags, receipts, and route keys.
• Maintain records in an organized, detailed manner.
• Process bulk cash inventory and change orders.
• Ensure all shipments are transported and completed correctly.
• Maintain cash and coin vaults and open/close the facility as required.
