You are working closely with operations and maintenance teams to identify root causes, resolve equipment concerns, and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Responsibilities

As an AMO Technician – Mechanic I, you are being responsible for:

  • Investigating and resolving equipment‑related complaints in accordance with maintenance procedures.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and parts lists to diagnose technical issues.
  • Supporting maintenance activities while following established procedures and safety requirements.
  • Troubleshooting hydraulic circuits and electro‑mechanical systems to identify root causes and corrective actions.
  • Utilizing diagnostic equipment including multimeters, megohmmeters, and hi‑pot testers.
  • Supporting maintenance of electrical systems including three‑phase 480V and single‑phase 120V equipment.
  • Assisting with inspection, maintenance, and repair activities to ensure equipment reliability and complaint resolution.
  • Maintaining accurate records related to complaints, troubleshooting activities, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Utilizing computer systems to track maintenance activities, complaints, and repair documentation.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and maintenance effectiveness.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Have experience in mechanical maintenance, equipment repair, or industrial operations.
  • Have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Have knowledge of hydraulic systems and electro‑mechanical equipment troubleshooting.
  • Have experience using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and hi‑pot testers.
  • Have basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems including 480V three‑phase and 120V single‑phase equipment.
  • Have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have basic computer skills and the ability to maintain maintenance records accurately.
