Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an AMO Technician to inspect, maintain, repair, and prepare equipment, ensuring quality and operational requirements are met. You will work with a team, document work accurately, and help deliver dependable equipment to customers.

Responsibilities include following procedures, identifying worn parts, and maintaining safety standards while contributing to continuous improvement and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude and an interest in equipment maintenance or repair.
• Able to follow written procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
• Communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team.
• Be dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to producing quality work.
• Able to lift, move, and handle equipment and materials as required by the job.
• Willing to learn new processes, tools, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble equipment according to work instructions and approved procedures.
• Identify worn, damaged, or out-of-specification parts and communicate findings to the appropriate team members.
• Use hand tools, shop equipment, and measurement instruments safely and correctly.
• Complete job paperwork, inspection records, and system documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow quality requirements, safety procedures, and applicable shop practices throughout each job.
• Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and ready for use.
• Work with team members, supervisors, and other departments to meet job schedules and customer requirements.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Complete other assigned duties in support of AMO operations.
