Job summary

Norway Health Center LLC in Saint Paul, MN is seeking an Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) Worker to deliver skills training and support in clients' homes and communities, helping them regain independence and achieve personal goals. The role requires meeting DHS/Medicaid requirements, building therapeutic relationships, and coordinating with county case managers and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher with one of: associate degree, 2 years postsecondary in behavioral sciences, RN, 3 years life experience with mental illness, or 2,000 hours in health/human services.
• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences preferred
• Experience working with individuals with mental health challenges preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Empathy, patience, and ability to build rapport with clients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with insurance
• Flexible hours to accommodate client schedules
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Provide ARMHS services meeting DHS/Medicaid requirements to an established caseload
• Develop therapeutic relationships with patients
• Provide clinical interventions under supervision
• Teach skills to improve mental health and rehab goals
• Coordinate services with interpreters, case managers, family, and medical staff
• Attend supervision meetings and clinical team discussions
• Maintain client files and documentation per DHS guidelines
• Complete accurate case notes in Procentive
• Refer patients to other professionals with supervisor support
• Maintain positive working relationships within the organization and community
