Job summary

Residential Services, Inc. (RSI) is seeking a part-time Mental Health Practitioner for our ARMHS program in Virginia, MN. You will assist adults living with mental illness in home and community settings, contributing to their Individual Treatment Plans under supervision.

The role offers flexible scheduling and 20–30 hours per week, with a focus on compassionate, reliable advocacy and support services in the ARMHS framework.

Qualifications

• Post-offer background and MVR check required.
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Work with adults living with mental illness in home or community settings.
• Develop and ensure implementation of Individual Treatment Plans.
• Collaborate with ARMHS Treatment Director for guidance and instruction.
• Review and revise treatment plans as needed.

Education

Masters or graduate degree in behavioral sciences or related field

30 sem hours / 45 quarter hours in behavioral sciences + 2000 hours of relevant experience

30 sem hours / 45 quarter hours in behavioral sciences + practicum/internship with direct interaction

4000 hours of experience in delivering services to individuals with mental illness etc.

2000 hours of experience with supervision weekly until 4000 hours

Masters or graduate degree in behavioral sciences or related field (alternative qualification)

What You’ll do as an ARMHS Practitioner:

As an ARMHS Practitioner, you will work with adults living with mental illness, providing support within their home or in the community and working on their Individual Treatment Plan goals. You’ll work closely with RSI’s ARMHS Treatment Director for continued guidance and instruction. ARMHS Practitioners also help create Individual Treatment Plans and ensure that they are implemented, reviewed, revised as necessary.

This position is offering 20-30 hours a week, with flexible scheduling.

For this position, you will need:

• To pass a post-offer background and MVR check
• A valid driver’s license with no restriction and have a working vehicle

ARMHS Practitioners will also need to meet one of the following qualification requirements

• Have at least 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours in behavioral sciences or related field and 2000 hours of experience with individuals with mental illness, substance use disorder, traumatic brain injury, or developmental disabilities; or
• Have at least 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours in behavioral sciences or related field and have completed a practicum or internship that focused on behavioral sciences or related field that required direct interaction with individuals served; or
• Have 4000 hours of experience in the delivery of services to individuals with mental illness, substance use disorder, traumatic brain injury or developmental disabilities; or
• Have 2000 hours of experience providing services to individuals with mental illness, substance use disorder, traumatic brain injury, or developmental disabilities and receive treatment supervision at least once per week until obtaining 4000 hours of experience; or
• Have a masters or other graduate degree in a behavioral sciences or related field.
