Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Armed Weekend Driver in Oregon, OH. The role involves driving and patrolling to safeguard clients across various industries, with a focus on transportation locations.

You will provide excellent customer service and maintain security presence during shifts. The position requires an armed guard license, at least 2 years of related experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a transportation location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of rail facilities, access points, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious persons, vehicles, packages, or activities according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as directed.
Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs while maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the location.
