Job summary

Loomis Armored is hiring an Armed Vault Teller in the New Orleans/Elmwood area to maintain inventory in cash vaults and service Loomis customers. You will work with a team to ensure accurate cash handling and timely processing of shipments.

The role requires lifting, security awareness, and firearms-permit readiness; starting pay is $17.50 per hour. Shift is Monday–Friday, 2:00 pm until work is complete, full-time, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to load/unload currency and coin weighing ~50 lbs.
• Stamina for 6–10 hour shifts, 5–6 days/week.
• Ability to push/pull heavy loads and stand for long periods.
• Valid firearms permit or ability to meet state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Check IDs, seals, and receipts against manifests.
• Count items, record amounts and serial numbers.
• Load/unload wagons with bags/boxes of coin.
• Sort cargo by route.
• Communicate with coworkers and customers by phone.
