Job summary
Top Guard Security, Inc. is seeking armed and unarmed security guards to cover Norfolk and surrounding areas in Virginia. The firm provides comprehensive security services to industrial, commercial and government clients, with a strong emphasis on officer training and advancement opportunities.
The positions pay $16–$22 per hour and report to an Account Manager. Benefits are offered for full-time staff, with part-time eligibility as well.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Ability to pass a background check as a condition of employment.
- Maintain professional appearance and behavior on site.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work varying shifts.
- Prior security or law enforcement training preferred for some sites.
Responsibilities
- Maintain professional demeanor and customer service expectations at all times.
- Monitor and report incidents, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
- Follow post orders and safety procedures on site.
- Be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Work weekends and holidays as required.
- Comply with all security protocols and access control measures.
