Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking Armed Security Professionals for Arrestee Transport in Florida. The Transportation Officer ensures safe transport of individuals, vehicle safety, and compliance with laws. Requires 2+ years as a certified law enforcement officer or related experience; state certifications, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Both full-time and part-time positions available. Training provided at no cost.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have, or be able to obtain, a Florida Class D/Security Officer License.
• Minimum of two (2) years of driving experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in law enforcement, military police, or corrections.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and prepare transportation vehicles for daily operation; perform pre- and post-trip inspections and complete required paperwork.
• Conduct pat-downs and ensure individuals are properly secured before leaving a facility and during transport.
• Maintain safe operation of vehicles and compliance with all safety, legal, and regulatory requirements during transport.
• Respond to emergencies and make emergency notifications as necessary.
