Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Part Time Transit in Denver, CO. The role offers flexible hours and anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Responsibilities include protecting visitors and staff, responding to incidents, conducting patrols, and enforcing site policies while following post orders. A valid armed guard license and 21+ age are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program.
• Armed guard card/license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply; valid driver’s license if driving role.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff at a public transportation site.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations.
• Conduct armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeters.
• Monitor entrances and restricted areas per post orders and government requirements.
• Carry and use authorized duty equipment and support event security.
