Job summary

GardaWorld Security is seeking an Armed Tactical Security Officer to patrol various environments such as retail locations and airports, ensuring safety and rapid response to incidents. The role requires readiness to stand and walk throughout the shift and strict adherence to access control and incident reporting.

The ideal candidate will have military or law enforcement background, be at least 21, possess a valid driver license and a clean MVR, and be prepared for a thorough screening process.

Qualifications

• Must have military, or 6 months law enforcement, or 6 months armed corrections in background.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid Driver License and clean Motor Vehicle Report.
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
