Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain a visible and professional presence to deter illegal activities and ensure safety.
2. Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
3. Conduct regular patrols of the premises.
4. Use excellent customer service skills to deescalate tense situations.
5. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
6. Document incidents and activities accurately using company protocols.
7. Inspect premises for security risks and report findings.
8. Comply with all state regulations, including maintaining current armed security licensure in Georgia.

Physical Requirements

1. Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods (minimum of 1 hour).
2. Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
3. Remain calm and function independently in high-pressure situations.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid Georgia Blue Card or eligibility to obtain one.
3. Experience in security, law enforcement, military police, or related fields preferred.
4. Criminal justice degree preferred but not required.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
6. At least 3 years' experience as an armed or unarmed security officer.
7. Ability to work effectively in high-stress environments with professionalism.
8. Pass a background check.
9. Availability for flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment

Primarily at locations in Georgia.
