Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent and at least 3 years in security or related field; armed experience preferred.
• Must obtain Armed Security Guard Registration with the State of North Carolina and re-qualify annually.
• Available for all shifts and 24-hour emergency call-ins.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed security for county property 24 hours a day.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, incidents, and emergencies.
• Supervise county and contract security officers; monitor CCTV and dispatch as needed.
• Patrol facilities, write reports, and communicate with staff and public.
