Job summary

constelliscareers seeks a Security Guard Officer to protect personnel and property at our Amarillo, TX site. You will patrol, monitor CCTV, control access, respond to incidents, and document activities with precision.

Qualifying candidates have a TX DPS Armed Security Officer license, 3+ years in security or law enforcement, and ARC First Aid/CPR certification. Lifting up to 50 lbs and regular shift work are expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold TXDPS Armed Security Officer license or be able to obtain and maintain it.
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated security or law enforcement experience.
• Eight years of practical law enforcement or military experience preferred.
• Complete ARC First Aid/CPR & AED Instructor Certification.
• U.S. citizenship with valid SSN and driver’s license.
• Pass background check, medical/physical requirements, and firearms suitability.
• May require security clearance and post assignments.
• Able to meet medical and fitness standards and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the premises to deter intrusions and vandalism.
• Monitor CCTV and security systems for suspicious activity.
• Control access by badge enrollment and verification.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies and coordinate with authorities when needed.
• Prepare detailed daily activity and incident reports for management.
• Assist visitors and employees with information and directions.
• Follow emergency procedures including active shooter responses and evacuations.
