Job summary

Liberty Defense Group LLC is seeking an Armed Security Specialist in Kentucky to protect clients, employees, and visitors. The role requires vigilance, quick judgment, and the ability to respond to routine and emergency situations while following laws and company policies.

Responsibilities include patrols, post security, incident response, and accurate reporting. Candidates must meet firearm and training requirements and can access licensing sponsorship programs.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Prior experience in law enforcement, the military or security preferred.
• Must be legally eligible to carry a firearm.
• Completion of all state and/or municipal mandated firearms training.
• Successful completion of live-fire qualification demonstrating accuracy under pressure.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a state-issued Agent Card and guard cards.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous security coverage through foot patrols, stationary posts, and surveillance monitoring during assigned shifts.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure safety of people and property.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies, alarms, and incidents.
• Perform defensive or restraint techniques when required and in accordance with training and policy.
• Safely carry, draw, and operate a firearm in compliance with all legal and training requirements.
• Maintain alertness and responsiveness during long or overnight shifts.
• Make sound decisions in high-stress situations.
• Observe, assess, and report suspicious activity with situational awareness.
• Operate security equipment including radios, flashlights, CCTV, and surveillance systems.
• Prepare clear, accurate written reports using a computer or mobile device.
