Liberty Defense Group LLC is seeking an Armed Security Specialist to maintain a safe environment for clients, employees, and visitors. You will patrol, monitor surveillance, respond to emergencies, and employ defensive techniques when needed, while complying with laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Prior experience in law enforcement, the military or security preferred.
• Must be legally eligible to carry a firearm.
• Completion of all state and/or municipal mandated firearms training.
• Successful completion of live-fire qualification demonstrating accuracy and safe handling under pressure.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a state-issued Agent Card and any required guard card(s).
• Must pass a federal background check.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed in stressful or emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous security coverage through foot patrols, stationary posts, and surveillance monitoring during assigned shifts.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure safety of people and property.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies, alarms, and incidents.
• Perform defensive or restraint techniques when required and in accordance with training and policy.
• Safely carry, draw, and operate a firearm in compliance with all legal and training requirements.
• Maintain alertness during long or overnight shifts.
• Make sound decisions in high-stress situations.
• Observe, assess, and report suspicious activity with strong situational awareness.
• Operate security equipment including radios, flashlights, CCTV and surveillance systems.
• Prepare clear, accurate written reports using a computer or mobile device.
• Maintain a clean, professional work environment and appearance.
• Wear required body armor or protective equipment for extended periods as needed.
