Job summary

SENTRY SIX International is seeking an Armed Security Specialist II in Houston, TX. The role focuses on physical security, access control, and patrols at designated locations. The position supports government and commercial clients and may involve day or night shifts.

The incumbent will maintain weapons qualifications, follow strict security protocols, and deliver high standards of customer service to residents, guests, and staff. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• US Citizen or eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid US Driver’s License.
• Minimum age 21.
• 3+ years verifiable experience in U.S. Military, corrections, security or Law Enforcement.
• Active Texas Private Security Level III License.
• Background check must be clear.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal guard services including entry control points, roving patrols and armed escort duties.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests, residents, employees and contractors.
• Provide roving mobile patrols within designated areas.
• Screen vehicles and personnel at entry control points.
• Protect equipment and personnel.
• Maintain weapons qualification on assigned weapon systems and proficiency with Non-Lethal Weapons.
• Work up to 12 hours in austere conditions (heat, cold, wind, dust, rain or snow).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
