Day & Zimmermann seeks an Armed Security Guard for American Ordnance to safeguard facilities, employees, and operations in a fast-paced setting. You will control access points, patrol installations, and respond to threats with professionalism and teamwork, ensuring safety across the site.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, a REAL ID or passport, and 6 months of security-related experience. Expected duties cover documentation, surveillance, and possible detainment powers, with an hourly

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma or GED.
• Must possess a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or current Passport.
• 6 months security-related experience and/or training in the last 5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs access control at perimeter and internal points, including vehicle searches and badge inspections.
• Completes documentation for duties (search registers, logs, vehicle checks, explosive building signature sheets).
• Performs surveillance and counter-surveillance to maintain a secure workplace.
• Reports potentially unsafe conditions and threats.
• Escort, stand-by, and vehicle enforcement as needed.
