Qualifications

• Must obtain a TS-SCI-CI Poly security clearance; sponsorship possible.
• US citizen.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid U.S. state-issued driver’s license.
• Two years of service in the U.S. Armed Forces.
• Two years of security experience or a mix of military service and security experience.
• An associate degree or higher in a security-related or law enforcement field.
• Completion of a police officer basic training academy.
• Three years of experience as a security officer.

Responsibilities

• Deter and report unauthorized access.
• Prevent and respond to emergencies.
• Monitor and respond to security systems.
• Identify and report hazardous conditions.
• Manage access to secured areas.
• Enforce site security regulations.
• Document incidents and investigations.
• Respond to medical emergencies.
• Manage keys and safe/vault combinations.
• Conduct facility patrols.
• Engage in specialized duties with K-9 teams, Bike Patrol, Emergency Response, and Security Operations.
