Securitas Global Clients America is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a full-time position in Overland Park, KS. You will actively monitor premises, patrol locations, and enforce site regulations to protect personnel and visitors.

You may work in a patrol vehicle or at a controlled entrance to manage access. Applicants must be 21+, have a High School Diploma or GED, strong customer service and leadership skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• 12 months of armed experience, military, or law enforcement required.
• Candidate will be required to pass psychological profile, NRA class, and obtain Armed KCMO guard card.
• MVR required as it’s a driving post.

Responsibilities

• The Armed Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring the premises and patrolling locations.
• Officer will be either in a patrol vehicle or posted at a specific entrance for access control.
