Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Overland Park, Kansas is hiring Armed Security Officers for full-time positions. Officers will monitor premises, patrol diverse sites, and enforce client rules to maintain a safe environment.

Positions may operate from a patrol vehicle or be stationed at a fixed entrance for access control. Candidates must have armed experience and pass pre-employment screening. Competitive wages and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance.
• Professional demeanor.
• Must respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment.
• All candidates must complete pre-employment screening (drug screen & background).
• 12 months armed experience, military, or law enforcement.
• Pass psychological profile, NRA class, and obtain armed KCMO guard card.
• MVR required as this is a driving post.

Armed Security Officers - Full Time

Primary Location: Overland Park, KS

Wage Range:$22.00-$22.50/HR

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. TheArmed Security Officerposition helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

Officer will be either in a patrol vehicle or posted at a specific entrance for access control.
