Allied Universal® is hiring an Armed Security Flex Officer in Boulder. As a Security Professional Flex Officer, you will patrol designated areas, respond to incidents, and use our shift-pickup platform to select open shifts that fit your availability, building broad site experience across industries.

This role offers a competitive hourly pay of $26.78 and weekly pay, with eligibility for medical, dental, and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Be at least 18 (21 if armed) and reliable/adaptable.
• Ability to operate radios/monitors and interact with the public.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized removal within client requirements.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders.
