Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Armed - Access Control and Patrol in State College, PA for a part-time armed post. You will perform patrols, enforce rules, greet visitors, and respond to incidents to maintain a secure environment.

The role requires Act 235 qualification for PA armed posts, a PA Concealed Carry Weapons permit, and the ability to travel up to 40 miles from the Greater State College area. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to travel up to 40 miles from the State College area.
• Act 235 qualification is required for PA armed positions.
• Must possess PA Concealed Carry Weapons permit where applicable.
• A background check and drug screen will be performed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and enforce site policies and procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around client sites.
• Escort visitors, secure entry points, and protect sensitive information.
• Follow post orders and report safety concerns and breaches.
