Job summary

Strategic-Security-Corp in Raleigh, NC is hiring experienced, licensed armed security officers to perform roving and inside patrols for Walmart properties. You will deter theft, respond to incidents, and support store management while following all policies.

The role requires an armed PPSB license, valid firearms training, clean background, and the ability to work nights and weekends. You must pass background checks and drug screening, have a valid driver’s license, and be physically able to

Qualifications

• Must hold North Carolina Armed PPSB license and provide proof at application.
• Current firearms training and qualification per NC PPSB standards.
• Clean criminal history with no felonies.
• Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Minimum age 21 and legally allowed to carry firearms.
• Experience in armed security or loss prevention preferred.
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct roving patrols of Walmart parking lots and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, de-escalate verbally when possible, and summon police as needed.
• Follow company use-of-force and firearms policies at all times.
• Assist with vehicle theft prevention, lost persons, and parking/traffic concerns.
• Complete incident reports and logs promptly after each shift.
• Coordinate with store management, loss prevention, and local law enforcement.
