Qualifications

• 3+ years armed security or law enforcement experience.
• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background screening and drug testing required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location while following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry; direct visitors as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain logs for incidents and patrols.
