Job summary

Allied Universal in Bartlesville, OK is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol to safeguard clients across utilities and other industries. You will perform routine armed patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents with professionalism as part of a collaborative team.

The role requires 21+, a high school diploma or equivalent, background checks, drug screening, and state/local licensing as applicable; driving posts require a valid license.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facility grounds, operational areas, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activity, and other security-related events.
