Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer for Poway, CA. Must have a valid exposed firearm permit and an active CA guard card. Schedule is open availability; pay rate is $26/hour. Great perks and benefits accompany this role.

You will protect clients across industries, perform site patrols, respond to incidents, and maintain safety and security standards while delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Active California guard card required.
• Must be 21+ years old for armed roles.

• Licensing requirements per state/local laws.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
