Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Route Inspection in Atlanta, GA. You will patrol a financial institution, provide security, assist with access control, and deliver customer service while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

The role requires at least 5 years of security experience, 3+ years in related fields or a degree, a valid driver's license, CPR preferred, and willingness to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation may be required by law.
• Drug screen may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm problem-solving.
• Complete reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation; communicate observations to leadership.
