The position involves armed patrols, monitoring access, and responding to incidents at a busy retail environment. You must have a Texas Level III Armed Certification, be 21+, and hold a high school diploma, with a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally; escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols in retail stores, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Document incidents and patrol activities; communicate information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
