Qualifications

• Armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience required (1+ year).
• At least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years security supervisor/manager or 3 years security experience required.
• Armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check subject to federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at government locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly according to protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization, documenting visitors and incidents in reports.
• Maintain proficiency with equipment and comply with laws, policies, and post orders.
