We are seeking competent Armed Security Officers to oversee the surveillance of our premises and ensure the safety of our staff and visitors. Responsibilities include detecting suspicious behavior, preventing vandalism, thefts, and other criminal activities. Candidates should be well-trained in surveillance techniques and in handling perpetrators. The ideal candidate will command respect and authority, possess excellent observational skills, and contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

1. Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible presence.
2. Monitor and control access of vehicles and individuals entering the property.
3. Remove trespassers or wrongdoers from the premises.
4. Secure all exits, doors, and windows after hours.
5. Investigate suspicious activity or possessions.
6. Respond to alarms, assess situations, and take appropriate action.
7. Assist people in need of help.
8. Apprehend and detain perpetrators following legal protocols until authorities arrive.
9. Complete and submit reports on surveillance activities and incidents.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Proven experience as a security officer or guard.
2. Knowledge of legal guidelines related to security and public safety.
3. Ability to write detailed reports.
4. Excellent surveillance and observational skills.
5. Familiarity with surveillance systems and technology.
6. First Aid/BLS and self-defense training preferred but not mandatory.
7. Registered as a Level 3 Security Officer.
8. High School diploma or equivalent required.
