Job summary

Sunstates Security is hiring Armed Security Officers in the Tamarac area. This position offers a pay rate of $18.75/hr, with weekly pay. You will protect a jewelry manufacturing facility through patrols, access control, and prompt incident response to maintain a secure environment.

• Follow Post Orders and SOP to act quickly and effectively.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License.
• Valid Armed Security Officer License/Certification.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to pass physiological screening.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Good customer service skills and professional appearance.
• Reliable transportation is a must.

Role Overview

We are looking for an officer to join our team at a jewelry manufacturing company in the Tamarac area. In this role, you will conduct employee check-ins and X-ray screenings, manage front desk access, perform on-foot patrols, and monitor CCTV systems to maintain a safe and secure environment. The role also involves escorting vendors and overseeing the receipt and departure of inventory to ensure proper security procedures are followed.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
