Job summary

Star Pro Security Patrol, Inc. in California is seeking an armed security officer to protect client premises, assets, and personnel. The role requires proficiency with firearms, a valid Guard Card, and a clean driving record, with duties including patrols, access control, incident reporting, and responding to emergencies.

The position offers a schedule to be determined, with a pay rate of $22-25/hour and benefits such as health insurance, training and development, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Guard Card and Exposed Firearms permit.
• Must possess a current valid Driver's License and submit driving records.
• Level 3 Holster, Duty Belt, Handcuffs; Level 3A Body Armor optional.
• 2 of 3 nonlethals (Baton, OC Spray, Taser) and certifications highly desired.
• Firearms proficiency with completed training and regular proficiency assessments.
• Ability to perform prolonged standing, walking, and physical exertion.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor assigned areas to ensure the security of premises and monitor surveillance/alarms.
• Enforce security procedures including access control, visitor screening, and ID checks.
• Deter criminal activity and respond to security breaches.
• Handle emergencies promptly and mitigate risks to people and property.
• Safely carry and handle firearms, use as last resort per policy and law.
• Document incidents through detailed reports and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.
• Provide professional customer service and assist employees, visitors, and clients.
