Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring an Armed Security Officer to safeguard facilities and deter crime. The officer reports incidents clearly and comprehensively, maintaining a visible security presence to protect clients, guests, and employees. Must have 3+ years in security, military, or law enforcement or an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice, and be at least 21 years old.

Pay rate is $31.97 per hour. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement plans, holidays paid at time-and-a-half, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Minimum of three (3) years of law enforcement, military, or private armed security experience.
• Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state).
• Excellent communication skills; able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports.
• Able to complete all range qualifications and functions.

• Ensure safety and security of the facilities you protect and act as a visible deterrent to crime.
• Detect and report suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near your post to protect people and property.
