What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.


• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable laws, training, and site procedures.


• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity to help deter theft, unauthorized entry, and other disruptive behavior.


• Complete accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and follow-up needs to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.


• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.


• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
