Job summary

PacArctic is seeking an Armed Security Officer to support PAC and our customer in Bluemont, VA. The officer must possess a VA ARMED DCJS and hold a Top Secret Clearance.

The position offers $32/hour plus comprehensive health and welfare benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, parental leave, life and disability insurance, FSA, commuter benefits and tuition reimbursement. Responsibilities include access control and enforcing government rules.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must hold a Top-Secret Clearance.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a physical including drug screening and a psychological eval.
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts.
• Must have a VA Armed DCJS.
• Two years of experience in armed security or related fields.
• CPR and first-aid certification with AED training required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide access control to Government facilities and verify identification media.
• Monitor compliance with Government rules and regulations.
• Take precautions to protect health and safety of persons and correct unsafe conditions.
• Interface with Government Site Supervisors and Program Manager for contract performance and reporting.
