Job summary

Markley Group is seeking an experienced Armed Security Officer with an active U.S. government Top Secret clearance. You will protect personnel, property, and information, perform site patrols, and enforce access controls with vigilance and professionalism.

The role requires Massachusetts licensing to carry and strong communication, customer service, and computer skills to operate access control and database systems.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• High school diploma or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Massachusetts license to carry prior to employment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient computer skills for databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services for personnel, property, and information.
• Conduct patrols on foot within and around the facility.
• Ensure employees, visitors and contractors are properly cleared and have badges.
• Protect property, materials, equipment, and information from threats.
• Respond to and assess security alarms or emergencies.
• Serve as a first responder in emergency situations.
