Job Summary

In this role, Physical Security Officers (PSOs) can expect to work in demanding and fast-paced environments, including medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues, and public events. PSOs may be asked to work with a firearm. The mission is to protect all people, information, and property assigned while delivering high-end customer service.

Job Duties / Essential Functions
  • Delivering high-end customer service
  • Responding to emergencies
  • Deterring and preventing crime
  • Performing ingress/egress control procedures
  • Investigating incidents
  • Completing daily logs and incident reports
  • Conducting regular walking or vehicle patrols
  • Building and maintaining a professional rapport with clients, guests, and co-workers
  • De-escalating conflicts
  • Monitoring CCTV cameras
  • Performing other related duties as assigned
Skills / Qualifications
  • ACT 235 (current)
  • 21 years of age
  • Current and valid DL
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year experience in armed security recommended
  • Must be able to pass Physical Agility Test and Armed Security Officer course
  • Must be able to pass drug screen
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening, and OPS training requirements
Appearance

  • Officer’s fingernails shall not extend more than ¼ inch from the tip of the finger or interfere in any way with the performance of duty
