Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Incident Prevention Patrol in Seattle, WA. This part-time role focuses on providing security and customer service at a financial institution, maintaining a visible armed presence and responding to incidents.

The position requires at least two years of security experience, a concealed carry permit, and adherence to all licensing and background checks. The schedule includes Wed and Thu shifts with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Concealed carry permit required or preferred.
• Armed guard card/license preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control protocols, and emergency response activities at a financial institution.

• Maintain a professional armed presence in accordance with Allied Universal policies, licensing requirements, and applicable laws to help deter unauthorized activity.

• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and/or emergency responders as appropriate.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of the building, financial service areas, parking areas, and perimeter, noting suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.

• Document patrol activity and security-related incidents through accurate reports and promptly communicate concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.

• Possession of an armed guard card and/or license is preferred.

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
